vs. Kent School

Game Summary

Ethel Walker fell to the Kent School in three sets on Wednesday, October 22nd (8-25, 13-25, 21-25). Outside hitters Maddie Stirt ‘27 and Grace Grano ‘26 led the team with three kills each. In the first set, Walker’s struggled in serve-receive, but had some long rallies. In the second set, Walker’s had to make a last minute change when libero Rachel Lui ‘27, was taken out of play by a head injury. Joon Mulcahy ‘27 took over libero in the final set, and had an early serving run. Walker’s had an excellent start to the third set, with another serving run from Liana Salamone ‘26. After a lineup change by Kent midway through the set, Walker’s went point-for-point, but in the end was unable to win the set.
