Game Summary
Walkers Swimming & Diving kicked off the season against two Division II opponents with a win against Holy Child and a strong showing against Winsor. Walkers took 2nd place in the 200 medley relay; Preksha Agnihotri ’26 took first in the 200 individual medley and 2nd in the 100 Butterly; Sophie Liang ’27 took 2nd in the 50 freestyle then she grabbed the top spot in the 100 free, followed by teammate Madison Shafman ’26 who finished in 2nd. Maggie Peterson ’27 had a strong 3rd place finish in the 100 butterfly and an impressive 1st finish in the 100 backstroke. The foursome of Preksha, Maggie, Madison and Sophie wrapped up the meet with a 2nd place finish in the 400 free relay. The team’s first meet of the season saw 21 performances achieve a qualifying time standard for the NEPSAC championships in March.
