Game Summary

What a game for Ethel Walker JV Basketball! From tip-off, Walker’s was a powerhouse. The first quarter brought 3-pointers from Mariah Cubano ’29, Ayden Riendeau ’26, Susanna S. ’30, and Violet Tran ’26. Coming off the bench, Zoe Zhu ’28 was a force to be reckoned with knocking down shot after shot. The first half ended with a score of 36-6. In the second half, Nona Gibert Francisco ’28 led the team in defensive steals! Amelia Hamel ‘28 was quick off the dribble sinking layups. Our bench was electric and this win was a team effort. The final score was Walker’s 51 – Kent 14. We have about 10 days until our next game, but will bring this energy into our January 24 matchup against Choate.
