Game Summary
Walker’s traveled to Berkshire to take part in the Rose Classic, where they played against Mt. St. Charles. Walker’s was excited to take on a strong Mt. St. Charles program for the first time in regular season play. Both teams got off to a slow start after a long trip to Sheffield, MA, but Walker’s was able to piece together enough scoring to take a 24-20 advantage into the halftime break. Walker’s used halftime to regroup, and started the second half on an 8-0 run. Walker’s buckled down on defense and held Mt. St. Charles to just 13 second-half points to pull away with a 55-33 victory. Walker’s will go back to back and host Canterbury Saturday afternoon at 3pm.
