Five Walker’s Artists Receive Scholastic Art Awards

Five Walker’s artists have been recognized by The Scholastic Art and Writing Awards. Charlotte Wong ’26, Madison Shafman ’26, Constance Yu ’26, Lucia Liang ’28, and Reese Maddern ’28 all received awards for their artwork in different media. Their pieces were among thousands of entries, and only the top submissions were selected. We celebrate having such talented artists in our community.

The Scholastic Art & Writing Awards were founded in 1923, and have inspired bold ideas in creative teens across the country for over 100 years.
