Game Summary

A game on Friday after a long day of classes? No match for the Ethel Walker JV Basketball team. The game got off to a slow start with the first quarter ending Walker’s 14 – Rectory 5. Both teams were playing tight defense and struggling to find the net. The second quarter brought an increase to our lead, ending 23 – 9. Susanna S. ‘30 found her stride in the second half, banking shots. Despite this, Rectory outscored Walker’s in the third quarter with a score of Walker’s 31 – Rectory 19 heading into the final eight minutes. Thanks to Addison B’s ‘30 consistent defensive stops and offensive points, Walker’s was able to secure the victory. The final score was Walker’s 40 – Rectory 23. We have a rivalry match-up coming next Wednesday, February 4, against Porter’s. Let’s keep this Walker’s win streak alive!
