From start to finish, Walker’s kept up a quick pace. Throughout the game, the team amassed over ten steals due to good communication on defense, active hands, and good positioning. In addition to the steals, the team forced several other turnovers, as Westy’s offense struggled to handle their suffocating defensive pressure. Collectively, Walker’s finished with 20+ rebounds and 6 blocks, which speaks to an excellent defensive effort by both guards and post players. Offensively, the team totaled 11 assists. Schroeder ’25, Amanda Tollis ’23, and Ellie Brothers ’22 all knocked down key foul shots. Ellie notched her second consecutive double-double. The team looks to continue their win streak against Choate’s Thirds Team on Wednesday.
