vs. Eagle Hill School

Game Summary

Ethel Walker secured their first win against Eagle Hill School in an exciting match at home with a score of 8-3. The first half proved to be an even match– the first goal was scored by captain Gianna Harris ‘27, followed by a last second goal by Eagle Hill. Attackers Sam Class ‘28 and Yihan Chen ‘27 each scored goals of their own during the second period, but the game remained tied at the end of the first half. Ethel Walker rallied in the second half, with Gianna Harris ‘27 scoring several goals in rapid succession. Cristina Samaranch ‘27 made some excellent defensive plays in one of her first full games post-injury. Eagle Hill showed great sportsmanship, and the team was excited to ring their first bell of the season!
