Game Summary
On Wednesday, September 17th, JVVB took on a strong Taft team. The team lost 1-3, with a stellar performance in the second set leading to a set victory. Seniors Isla MacPherson ’26 and Perlin Mercier ’26 had a great showing at their first ever volleyball game! Senior Amy Wu ’26 was strong with solid passes in the back row. Newly elected captains Gracie Bennett ’27 and Lana Jones ’27 led the team, with Gracie having a few excellent kills and Lana keeping passes consistent in the back row. Savannah Atkinson ’28 made many valiant dives for errant balls, and contributed to the team in both the front and back row. We look forward to our next game a week from today, and to a great rest of the season.
