We are thrilled to invite you to join us for the sixth edition of our year-long speaker series titled Understanding the Whole Child: A Walker’s Parent Education Series. Inspired by our School values, and anchored by the community of experts assembled at the School, we developed the series in an effort to equip Walker’s families with knowledge and tools to best support their students throughout their Walker’s journey. Each session will include both a presentation and an opportunity for questions and answers.
This session will address the developmental advantages of exercise and team activities for girls on their mental, emotional, and physical well-being. While highlighting the value in participation during formative years, this session will also inform on the value of building lifelong habits, confidence, and body autonomy through fitness.
