vs. The Taft School

Game Summary

Walker’s traveled to Founders League opponent Taft and used a great 4th quarter to hold off a tough Taft team. Walker’s played great defense in the first half, taking a 24-18 lead into halftime. The third quarter provided a complete change of pace, as it was far more up and down. Walker’s gave up as many points in the third quarter (18) as they did in the first half. Nevertheless, Walker’s took a 37-36 lead into the fourth quarter. Walker’s upped their defense in the fourth, and gave up only two points to Taft in the final session. Walker’s got big baskets by several players down the stretch, and went 6-7 from the line to earn the 53-38 victory. Walker’s moves to 13-5 on the season and will travel to Kingswood-Oxford next Wednesday.
