Game Summary

After a physically demanding game just 24 hours earlier, Walker’s showed their grit and toughness in a great win over Berkshire on Saturday evening. Walker’s played with Berkshire in the first quarter before allowing too many open looks to the Bears in the second quarter. Berkshire took a six point lead into halftime. Walker’s, however, rose to the occasion in the third quarter, cutting into the Bear lead and trailing by only 1 headed into the 4th. Walker’s combined great defense with some timely shooting, and were able to gain enough of a lead to make Berkshire foul in the closing minute. Walker’s sealed the game at the free throw line. Walker’s now stands at 15-6 on the season and will look ahead to hosting Marianapolis Prep on Senior Day on Wednesday afternoon.
