Game Summary

The final game of the Walker’s Invitational saw the two teams that hadn’t lost a game on the weekend play each other. In a great game, Walker’s was able to take a 78-70 victory into their winter break. Both teams executed great offense throughout, and it wasn’t until late in the fourth quarter that Walker’s was able to make a couple of key stops followed by strong offense to take an 8 point lead. Walker’s saw great games from all five starters, and when they needed it most, played great team defense and secured rebounds to limit opportunities for Holderness. Walker’s heads into their winter break after a flawless December, taking an 8-0 record into the new year.
