vs. Hamden Hall Country Day School

After a tough week with two top founders league matchups, Walker’s wecomed Hamden Hall to Simsbury on Wednesday 4/16. With the result of last year’s game (11-10 Loss) as motivation, the Walker’s team was ready to secure the win at home this year. As the game began, Hamden Hall scored first, to begin a series of back and forth possessions throughout the game. As emotions heightened and tensions rose throughout the game, Walker’s kept their composure which allowed them to capitalize on their opponents mistakes. Nyjirah Stones ’26 and Jenna Hamel ’25 led the Walker’s offense and found great success on the draw circle as well, winning the majority of possessions. Defensively, Maya Atwood ’26 came up with multiple ground balls and helped Walker’s transition up field. On the attack, Caroline Toto ’26 controlled the ball at X and was a steady presence, making good decisions and facilitating ball movement and contributing a goal and an assist. Walker’s came out on top 12-9.
