Walker’s played a talented Taft team on Saturday. Missing some key players, Walker’s stepped up to the challenge, ready to play in a high-level Founders League matchup. While Walker’s played an excellent game with M. Atwood ‘26 and C. Hayes ‘27 controlling the field, the strength and depth of the Taft team, a top ten program in the region, proved to be the difference maker. In varying weather conditions, the team was able to limit the Taft offense to just 5 goals after the first quarter. M. Meador ‘25 had 20+ saves on the day, with a save percentage comparable to top collegiate goalies.
