vs. Deerfield Academy

Walker’s traveled to Deerfield on Wednesday afternoon to play a strong Class A opponent. Deerfield scored a run in the bottom of the first inning before Walker’s replied with a run of their own in the top of the 2nd. Deerfield took advantage of several Walker’s fielding errors and, combined with some timely hits, scored 7 runs in the bottom of the 2nd. The 7  run deficit proved too much, and despite Walker’s putting a season high number of runs on the board, they couldn’t catch their opponents. Walker’s will take their offense into their next game, on Friday against Choate, and will hope to end a 3 game losing skid.
