Walkers had its first home game on Wednesday against a very strong
Kingswood team. After taking a 3-2 lead after the first inning, Ethel
Walker played a strong game through 4 innings, only being down 4-3.
The strong bats for Kingswood came alive in the final three innings to
account for the final score. Of note were some strong defenses with
outstanding catches in center field by L. Wry ’27 and 8 strikeouts from A.
Riendeau ’26 on the mound, who also contributed by being on base twice and
scoring one of the three runs. Good at-bats also came from K. Dabkowski ’26
and Stella W. ’29 Next up is a trip to Greenwich on Saturday to face GCDS.
