Game Summary

Ethel Walker fell to Choate Rosemary Hall on Saturday, September 20th, in three sets (15-25, 20-25, 16-25). Hitter Liana Salamone ‘26, led the team with four kills, including a bump kill off her foot, which was the most memorable play of the day. Libero Rachel Lui ‘27, led with 10 digs and had a fantastic kill off a backrow hit in the second set. Outside hitter Maddie Stirt ‘27, and setter Ashley Fontanella ‘29, also played huge roles in defense, with over five digs each. Yihan Chen ’27, led the team in aces and had three kills. While a challenging game, Walker’s had a strong showing with smart plays and a positive attitude.
