Ethel Walker School
In the spring, nine new members of the Walker’s student body were selected to The Ethel Walker Athletic Council (EWAC), a student organization that strives to improve and develop leadership skills, sportsmanship, responsibility, competitiveness, a positive attitude and an understanding of what it means to be a leader of Walker’s athletic program. These members were celebrated virtually and also during the annual year-end EWAC event attended by coaches and captains.
Congratulations to the nine new members: Kyla Birk ’23, Beatrice Bustillo ’23, Allie Dowd ’23, Alex Faucher ’23, Emily French ’22, Lauren Krupnikoff ’23, Kenzie Olvert ’22, Ku Paw ’22, and Natalie Stewart ’23.
Returning members include Sarah Shaw ’23 and seniors Alice Gu ’22, Alexia Grech ’22, and Allison Wall ’22.
Players are nominated by coaches and current EWAC members. To be considered, the student must be a varsity athlete of at least two seasons, or participate in the highest level of riding or dance, and exhibit the qualities of spirit, dedication, talent, and sportsmanship.
