Field Hockey Named Western Champions and Advance to Tournament

The Ethel Walker School varsity field hockey team qualified for post-season play in the New England Preparatory School Athletic Council (NEPSAC) Class C tournament. Walker’s will host Hamden Hall on Wednesday, November 13 at 2:15 p.m. for the quarter-final game.

For the fifth time in 10 seasons, including four years in a row, the varsity field hockey team was also named the Western New England Preparatory School Field Hockey Association (WNEPSFHA) Class C Champions. Walker’s ranked third out of 34 Class C schools in field hockey.

Update 11/13/19: In a 2-0 win against Hamden Hall on Wednesday, November 13, varsity field hockey advanced to the NEPSAC Class C Semifinals. They travel to Northfield Mount Hermon School to take on #2 seed Holderness School at 2:00 p.m.
