Earlier this week, Walker’s varsity field hockey coach Mimi Duran was honored by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association for her 300th win which occurred this fall during the team’s regular season. Coach Duran, who was joined at the event in Lake Mary, FL by her husband and son, hit the 300th mark during the November 2 game against Wilbraham and Monson. The Connecticut Field Hockey Hall of Famer boasts a record of 300-154-40.
