Three seniors at The Ethel Walker School in Simsbury have signed national letters of intent to play lacrosse at the collegiate level.

Senior Shay Ventresca of Oakdale, Connecticut signed her agreement to play lacrosse at Wofford College and Chloe Miller of Avon, Connecticut signed for Central Michigan University; both Wofford and Central Michigan are NCAA Division I schools. Caroline Stent of Granby, Connecticut will play at Stonehill College, a NCAA Division II school.

Surrounded by their teammates, coaches, classmates, teachers and administrators, the students signed their letters at a ceremony at the school on Wednesday morning. “We couldn’t be more proud of these three amazing scholar athletes. Their commitment to our School, this community, and our athletic program has benefited Walker’s in immeasurable ways,” said John Monagan, Walker’s athletic director. “As a school we want to thank each of these girls and their families for sharing the last few years of their lives here with us.”
