National Recognition for Walker’s Field Hockey Athletes

The National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) has recognized three Walker’s varsity field hockey players on the High School National Academic Squad for their excellence in both academics and athletics. Philine Bermpohl ’27, Abby Spencer ’27, and Celia Xu ’26 earned this honor based on their academic performance during the fall semester of the 2025–2026 school year. This distinction celebrates junior and senior student-athletes nationwide who have achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher through the fall semester.

Celia and Abby were also named Scholars of Distinction, a title earned with higher academic qualifications. Juniors and seniors from across the country are eligible for this distinction and are nominated by coaches and selected based on GPA.
