Walker’s Students in Connecticut Magazine for Diabetes Research

Students at Walker’s are partnering with Stanford researchers in a molecular genetics course to advance diabetes research, conducting lab work typically done at the collegiate level. Modeled after Stanford’s Stan-X curriculum, the class gives students hands-on, real-world scientific experience. Nellie Kenney ’25 told Connecticut Magazine, “Taking this class absolutely transformed what I thought about science and myself as a student.”
