Game Summary

Walker’s brings home another hard-fought win, taking down the Taft Rhinos in their own gym in a thrilling showdown! The first quarter was the Addison B. ‘30 and Ayden Riendeau ‘26 show. Addison had 4 points and Ayden had 7. From the first whistle, we saw presses and tight defense. Susanna S. ‘30 put some points on the board to secure the lead at half-time for the Wildcats. However, Taft found their groove in the 3rd quarter outsourcing us 7-6. We entered the fourth quarter Walker’s 25 – Taft 21. Down to the wire! Zoe Zhu ‘28 led Walker’s charge with an electric shot from the arc. From there on we couldn’t be stopped. Mariah Cubano ‘29 played shut-down defense on Taft’s leading player, holding her to a nearly scoreless quarter. Ayden and Addison secured the victory with clutch rebounds and lay-ups. Walker’s walked away with the win with a final score of Walker’s 34 – Taft 26! We next face Suffield Academy away on Saturday – wish us luck!
