Grade 8
In this seminar, 8th grade students explore what it means to lead — not someday, but right now, in their friendships, classrooms, and communities. Using the Lean In Girls curriculum, students build confidence, challenge perfectionism, and learn to see mistakes as opportunities to grow. Through discussion and hands-on activities, they’ll practice amplifying their own voices while identifying and pushing back on bias and stereotypes. The seminar also focuses on creating belonging, giving students tools to stand up against bullying and build healthy peer relationships. By the end, students will see themselves as capable leaders, whatever their role or title. This is leadership grounded in everyday choices, not future titles.
