Lizzy Strapp ’21 in USA Maccabi Soccer Training Video

This past August, Lizzy Strapp ’21 was a coach at the Connecticut Olympic Development Soccer Camp. Lizzy’s positive attributes as a leader and soccer player caught the eyes of the coaching staff for USA Maccabi Olympic Soccer who were also at camp. As a result, Lizzy was asked to participate in video tutorials demonstrating soccer skills for youth soccer players in the Maccabi USA program, with Coach Jon Maccabi. 

Todd, D’Alessandro, Connecticut Olympic Development Soccer Director and a Walker’s soccer coach, remarked, “It’s not a surprise at all that Lizzy was identified by Maccabi USA for these skill development videos. She is a very technical player with outstanding ball control. Walker’s Soccer is going to miss Lizzy dearly – her leadership and soccer skills have been pillars of Walker’s Soccer for the past five years.”
