The word “lacuna” refers to an unfilled space, a gap, and comes from the Latin word for pool or lake. Like jumping into a pool, Lacuna takes us from our regular world of academics into a new world of learning where we are buoyed by creative thought and action, and where we swim in unknown waters surrounded by others ready to support us. Dive in to this time of new and surprising experiences that offer us new ways of being and doing – increasing our capabilities!
This year, Lacuna will offer two sessions of courses, Thursday-Friday and Monday-Tuesday, April 8-9 and 12-13. Please note that a limited number of courses cover both of these sessions, lasting four days. The vast majority are two-day courses. In addition, this year we have a number of courses offered by Walker’s alums, who are experts in their fields. These courses will be appropriate for distance learners. All courses will meet in person for those on campus. Students may access rosters and rooms in Veracross.
