During assembly on Wednesday, February 27, Walker’s Black Student Union (BSU) gave a moving presentation in honor of Black History Month. Students shared original art pieces and poignant reflections about various aspects of black identity and history. A highlight was a rousing Gospel Choir rendition of “Lift Every Voice And Sing” by James Weldon Johnson, with a solo by Nafarrah Ramsay ’21 and Mrs. MacAlpine on piano.
