Walker's offers a daily bus transportation service for day students. The 2018-2019 fee for the service is $800 per child per semester (billed at the beginning of each semester, once in September and once in January) or approximately $10 per day.
In an effort to best support our international student population, we are looking for host families for the 2018-2019 school year. This is an exciting opportunity for both our new students and our current families as the exchange of students across borders is truly priceless.
With the school year coming to a close, we invite you to preorder a copy of the 2018 Pepperpot yearbook for your daughter. This beautiful, completely redesigned, larger than ever, full-color yearbook will be a keepsake that she can have for the rest of her life. It's full of thousands of images, articles about the year, sports summaries, art collections, memories of all the major events, sections dedicated to each of the grades and a whole lot more!
A true sign that spring has arrived at Walker's is when prom details start to come into place! On Saturday, May 12, we are excited to have our prom at The North House, located right down the road in Avon, CT. A schedule for the night is as follows:
Walker's equestrians spent two weeks competing in the Lake Placid Horse Show and I Love New York Horse Show, two of the country's most prestigious equestrian events held June 26-July 8 in Lake Placid, New York.
Walker's freshwoman Kristen St. Louis '21 was selected as one of three finalists in the Powerful Voices category in the 2018 Yes! National Student Writing Competition for her piece "Wipe Your Tears."
