The start of the second semester is a good time to be sure parental permissions are up-to-date in our Veracross and Boardingware software. Establishing student permissions is an important tool in assisting us in managing students' activity and travel off campus and helps us to ensure student safety according to parental guidelines.

Connecticut's capital city of Hartford, which struggles with high poverty rates, is just down the road from Walker's campus, but it can seem miles away in reality. Seniors Eliza Wetmore and Maddie Ross came face-to-face with that reality last year as participants in the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program.
Walker's juniors and seniors will join participants from Turkey, Pakistan and Germany in the Harvard Alumni Association's GlobalWE annual essay writing contest.
For the second year in a row, Walker's varsity ski team took home the first place trophy in the New England Preparatory School Athletic Council (NEPSAC) Class C Championship.
