In order to be considered for the scholarship, applicants must have a 3.5 GPA or higher, have demonstrated exceptional academic and leadership abilities and exhibited strong community involvement.

In 2016, KPMG launched the KPMG Future Leaders Program in partnership with Dr. Condoleezza Rice which is focused on developing future generations of women leaders. Each participant will also be paired with a mentor, a Next Generation woman leader, who attended KPMG’s Women’s Leadership Summit.

Zakiya will receive a scholarship of $10,000 per year for her four years of college. She will be attending Skidmore College where she plans to study biology.
