Involvement: Bell Choir, African Drumming, Varsity Swimming/Diving, and Head of Horizons.
“Hi my name Emi and I’m a senior! I’ve been at Walker’s since 6th grade and I love being a Cicerone because I can share my experiences and stories about a school that I practically grew up at. I love being involved on campus and am a part of a lot of musical clubs. I also swim and dive and am co-head of Horizons, one of our community partnerships.“
My favorite class at Walker’s was Women Spies: Covert Ops. It was such a cool class and I loved recognizing all the women who never got the credit they deserved.
My favorite part of my day at Walker’s is walking to class. There is always a familiar face in the hallway and someone to wave at and say hi to.
Advice I would give is to always try new things. You never know who you’re going to meet and what new thing you’re going to learn about yourself. It never hurts to try new things.
The biggest benefit of attending Walker’s is the small community. Like I said earlier there will always be a familiar face in the hallway and someone to talk to. The teachers are so nice and are always there to go to when you need help.
I believe I have grown as a person and learned to try new things and put myself out there even when I’m scared.
Walker’s has prepared me tremendously for the future. I learned how to finance my money and do taxes as well as enhance my public speaking ability.
My favorite thing to do in my free time is hang out with my friends. I love just sitting and talking to my friends about anything that i’m stressed about or excited about. They will always be there for me whenever I need them.
