Involvement: Theater, Dance, Choir Grapes, Drama Club, Rock Band, EWAC, and Dance Club
“I came to Walker’s my sophomore year coming from my hometown that is 16 hours flight distance from here. This is such a welcoming, diverse, and supportive community that allows students to explore themselves and grow. I want to show prospective families how much people can do at this school and how this place will be the second home.”
Choir because music makes my whole day happy. Seeing how people gain confidence in their voice and how everyone’s voice mix together is magical.
I never thought I would perform at a barn or be in the barn so often but being in Grapes gave me the opportunity to perform literally everywhere.
My favorite part of the day is co-curriculars (dance) because it keeps me energetic and I throw all negative energy away when I dance.
My favorite part is hanging out with friends and faculty in the Cluett pit.
Don’t be afraid to reach out for help and there will always be someone there for help! Express yourself and don’t be afraid to make mistakes too.
Feeling really safe and supported to be ourselves.
I definitely learned a lot from the classes, but I learned the most from the leadership roles.
Walkers impacted me so much on my confidence, communication skills, and problem solving skills.
Sing in the practice rooms or dance in the dance studio.
