Maria joined Walker’s in August 2021. During Maria’s almost 28 years with FLIK, she has held many positions following in her great-grandfather, parental grandfather, and father’s shoes, which includes Sous Chef, Chef Manager, Catering Manager, and most recently Director of Food Services. She has worked at Eversource, Hamilton Sundstrand, and Pratt and Whitney in both the East Hartford and Middletown plants. Maria holds an associate degree in business management with a concentration in food and beverage. A native of Niagara Falls, New York, Maria is an avid Buffalo Bills fan. She is proud to be such a huge part of what fuels our students to be the best they can be every day through quality food and nutrition.
