Brennan Maine ’09 leads with purpose to uphold a transformative program that uplifts under-resourced students from Hartford. She specializes in strategic program development, impact-driven story-telling, and collaborative fundraising that amplifies Horizons mission and message.
She is a proud Dial, former athlete who is interested in promoting the arts and riding her bicycle!

Executive Director of Horizons at The Ethel Walker School
Carol received a BAS from the University of Minnesota, Duluth and an M.Ed. in Secondary Education from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota. She brings over 20 years of experience in education and nonprofits including as an administrator for Upward Bound, teaching English as a second language in Beijing, Los Angeles, and Tulsa, and most recently as a Learning Specialist for The Cobb School, Montessori. She was a founding member of the Horizons at The Ethel Walker School staff and is also the proud parent of Walker’s alumnae Madeline ’18 and Emily ’19.
