“My name is Charlotte and I am a three-season equestrian and a proud Dial. I look forward to welcoming new families to the Walker’s community so they may experience its environment of growth and learning.”

What is your favorite class and why?

My favorite class is history because we always have so much fun, even when we are just taking notes. I think it is the easiest class to have big group discussions. All the classes are really fun and interesting, but in particular, I like the ones where we learn based on talking all together.

What is your favorite part of your typical day at Walker’s? What do you look forward to every day?

My favorite part of the day at school is rushing over from the barn after an early morning ride, just in time to grab some food from the dining hall. It’s the perfect time to hang out with friends and talk to new people. Also, breakfasts are my favorite meal that the school makes.

What advice would you give to an incoming Walker’s student?

Try new things and don’t just wait for people to come to you. You should learn about the opportunities offered that you would be interested in and go for them. Also, make sure to try to be in difficult classes so you can really challenge yourself!
