“I joined Walker’s in ninth grade, and from the very beginning i felt a strong sense of community and support that makes this school truly special. Being a Cicerone is important to me because it allows me to share that positive experience with prospective students and there families, helping them feel welcomed and informed. When families visit, I aim to showcase the warmth, diversity, and opportunities that Walker’s offers, from its engaging academics to its vibrant extracurricular life. I want them to leave with a clear sense of shy Walker’s is a place where students can grow, thrive, and find their own path.”

What is your favorite class and why?

My favorite class at Walker’s is my english class because it challenges me to think creatively and critically. The teachers are passionate and supportive, making the material engaging and accessible. I especially enjoy the discussion we have in class that help me connect what I learn to real-world situations.

What advice would you give to an incoming Walker’s student?

My advice to incoming students is to stay open-minded and get involved as much as possible. Walker’s offers so many opportunities to explore new interests and make friends. Don’t be afraid to ask questions or seek help, there is a strong community here ready to support you.

What do you think is the biggest benefit of attending school at Walker’s?

The biggest benefit of attending Walker’s is the strong sense of community combined with a commitment to academic excellence. Students are encouraged to explore their passions while receiving personalized support from dedicated teachers. Walker’s also fosters leadership and collaboration, preparing students to contribute meaningfully to the world beyond school.
