“I entered Walker’s in 7th grade. Being a Cicerone is really important because in being one, you get to have a very big impact on the students applying and get to see them really become interested in The School on their tour. It’s really one of the highlights being a Cicerone!”

What do you think is the biggest benefit of attending school at Walker’s?

I feel like the biggest benefit of attending Walker’s is that there is more of a community than at other schools. There is always something that the whole school is looking forward to and we are always there to cheer everyone on.

How do you feel you have grown (academically, emotionally, mentally) since your first day at Walker’s?

I have personally grown in a bunch of different spaces; I have learned that asking questions and asking for help is ok and that is what the teachers and adults are there for. Mentally/academically, I have learned it’s ok to to take breaks from certain things like a certain subject when doing homework is challenging, just put it down for a while and come back refreshed.

How do you think Walker’s has prepared you for your future?

Walkers’ has prepared me for my future in many ways such as leadership skills and communication.

What is your favorite thing to do in your free time?

Read and or study with a cup of tea or hot coco in the SOC or Library or any free classroom.
