Day Student

Involvement: Student Advancement Ambassador, Co-head of the Groutfit’s Club, and the head of our Anti-Racism Alliance on campus. I also swim in the winter and will play tennis in the spring!

I came to Walker’s as a freshman and was nervous to enter a brand new high school, but I quickly learned that Walker’s was my new home (even though I am a day student!). I hope that as a Cicerone, I can show prospective families how tight-knit our community is and how many opportunities open up as a student here.”

What is your favorite class and why?

My favorite class is history, but more specifically, freshman year Global History. I met some of my best friends in that class and there was never a dull moment.

What is your favorite part of your typical day at Walker’s? What do you look forward to every day?

My favorite part of my typical day at Walker’s is having lunch and club block with my friends. Abra’s is always filled with the people I love and being around them is usually the best part of my day.

What advice would you give to an incoming Walker’s student?

The advice I would give to an incoming Walker’s student is to introduce yourself to everyone, join any club that interests you, and participate in all school events. You never know when you’ll meet a new friend or find a new favorite hobby, so try everything!
