So many things! When I visited campus, I was so impressed by the warmth and kindness of everyone I met here, as well as their clear passion and strong academic credentials. I really believed in the Head of School’s vision for the school, and wanted to be a part of educating amazing young women! Also, I loved the idea of the Capabilities program, especially the fact that girls learn financial skills and self-defense.
So far I love my classroom in English Heights.
English! I love to read and to hear my classmates’ and friends’ perspectives on what we are reading together. It’s so interesting to see how different people have such different responses to and opinions about the same works.
As soon as I was in charge of a classroom full of kids, I knew it was what I was meant to do! For me, watching a student light up with new excitement or understanding is the best thing to see.
I love exposing students to books and works they might otherwise not know about.
Read, write, swim, and do yoga!
