Randi grew up on a large horse farm and was raised by horse professionals. She has been showing since she was a small child, and for the past 25 years she has been a manager and trainer of children and adults at all levels in the hunter, jumper, equitation, and eventing disciplines. She has worked and ridden for nationally known judge and trainer Carol Malony, for hunter rider/trainer Maryann Steiert Charles, and for Olympic 3-Day Event Gold Medalist J. Michael Plumb.


What was it about The Ethel Walker School that made you want to work here?

I wanted to work at Walker’s because you are a mentor and a teacher.

Who is your biggest female role model?

My mother. She was an awesome teacher with amazing patience.

If you were to give advice to an incoming Walker’s student, what would it be?

Try lots of things and find what you love.

What advice would you give to a graduating Walker’s senior?

Find something you are passionate about and figure out how to make a living at it. The best advice my dad gave to me.

What is you favorite thing to do in your free time?

Read and draw.

What is the most rewarding part about working at Walker’s?

Watching the girls grow up into amazing adults.
