On Saturday, March 4, Walker's equestrian team competed in the Interscholastic Equestrian Association (IEA) Regionals, held at Terry Allen Farms in Terryville.

Walker's Interscholastic Equestrian Association (IEA) team competed at the Avon Valley Show Stables IEA Horse Show on Sunday, November 13. The Upper School team placed first overall out of six teams, and the Middle School team placed second in the middle school division.
Three Walker's equestrians competed in the prestigious New England Equitation Championships, held October 19-23 at the Eastern States Coliseum in West Springfield, Massachusetts.
Julia Luciani '20, Ava Rodgers '16, Becky Morris '19, Emma Crate '19, Taylor Duerr '14, and Jacey Chorlton (adult boarder) all participated in the Vermont Summer Festival, held August 3-6 in Manchester, Vermont.
Walker's alumna Angela "Annie" Peavy '15 is one of four athletes who has been named by the United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) to compete for the U.S. Paralympic Equestrian Team in the 2016 Paralympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Several Walker's equestrians traveled to Saratoga Springs, NY in June to compete in the 2016 Skidmore College Saratoga Classic Horse Show, a two-week event showcasing top-notched hunter, jumper and equitation competitions.
Congratulations to Libby Mewbourne '18 (pictured with her horse Emerson Hill), who was named champion in the 3'3 Junior Hunters division at the Old Salem Farm horse show, May 10-15.
Walker's equestrian team was Reserve Champion at the Interscholastic Equestrian Association (IEA) Regionals, held February 27-28 at Oak Meadow Farm in East Windsor.
